DOHA: The Old Airport area will get a new petrol station near the Air Force Interchange (formerly Parachute roundabout), Sheikha Al Jefairi, member of the Central Municipal Council (CMC) has disclosed.
Minister of Energy and Industry H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada has approved the project in response to a long-standing demand from residents, Al Jefairi, the lone woman councillor representing the Old Airport constituency, told Al Sharq.
The petrol station will be set up in a large area with all associated services on the road linking Old Airport with Al Wakra close to Air Force Intersection, Jefairi said.
