Dr Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to State of Qatar, inaugurated the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) Students Forum, a platform for Indian Students to hone their talent, skills and knowledge.
The Ambassador gave a motivating speech to the students during the inauguration ceremony held virtually.
The event was attended by nearly 150 participants including, officials from the Embassy and Indian schools, parents, community leaders and students from various schools.
Hassan Chougle, senior community leader, President of DPS Modern Indian school group of Institution, Manikandan, former ICC President, Sonny Varghese, Senior educationist Ziad Usman, President ICBF spoke during the function.
Kamala Thakur, Head of activities and Education at ICC, opened the meeting followed by Krishna Kumar, General Secretary, welcoming the gathering, ICC President P N Babu Rajan presided over the meeting and Sudhir Gupta presented vote of thanks.
“All Indian community leaders and participants of the inaugural meeting appreciated the concept of promoting a student platform for surfacing the talents, creativity, innovative approach in dealing issues by next generation Indians,” ICC statement said
