Quake measuring 5.2 hits Yemeni coast

Sana’a: An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted an area east of the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Yemen yesterday.

Vice-President of the National Center for the study and monitoring of earthquakes and volcanoes Saleh Al Muflahi said that digital seismic monitoring stations of the Centre set the tremor’s epicentre in the eastern Gulf of Aden, at the depth of 10km undersea. QNA
