The participants during the 6th Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event at Concorde Hotel.
Doha: The Indian Institute of Quantity Surveyors - Qatar Chapter (IIQS-Qatar) conducted its 6th Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event of the year 2019 at Concorde Hotel recently.
This event was attended by close to 40 members and guests. Subroto Mukherji, Executive Manager, Qatar Design Consortium (QDC), delivered a lecture on air-conditioning of FIFA 2022 stadiums covering the planning, design and engineering aspects maintaining ambient temperature for spectators and players in stadiums.
This was followed by a lecture on introduction of fire alarm systems by Nithin Sathyasheelan, Sr. ELV Engineer, also from QDC. The audience found these lectures beneficial.
Venkata Narasimha Reddy, IIQS-Qatar Treasurer, welcomed the attendees. The speakers were felicitated by Sunil Kamalaksha, IIQS-Qatar Sports / Recreation Committee, Kiran, IIQS-Qatar General-Secretary, and Anshul Gupta, IIQS-Qatar President, who also delivered the vote of thanks.
