New Delhi: One more bookie allegedly involved in the Indian Premier League spot-fixing scandal has been arrested, a Delhi Police officer said yesterday.
Chandresh Jain alias Jupiter, 35, was arrested from Jaipur and presented in the district court on Sunday.
“The court has sent Jain to five days’ police custody,” Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) S N Srivastava said.
Of the other 29 arrested, 21 are on bail, while eight are in judicial custody.
