DOHA: The Ministry of Environment will give priority to residents of neighbouring areas in distribution of space for winter camping this year in some localities.
The decision came in response to requests from citizens for allotment of camping space in areas close to their residences so that they can visit it frequently and easily with their families, Al Sharq reported yesterday. Al Dhakhira camping station has been earmarked for residents of the area this year. Registration for camping space will start in October. The camping season in Qatar extends from early November until the end of March.
