Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality, represented by its Information Systems Department, has launched 38 new services on its OUN application, covering import permits, veterinary quarantine and health certificates, company registration, and agricultural services.
The new services are part of the Ministry’s Digital Transformation project for public services, which aims to develop services, streamline procedures and make them accessible electronically.
The new import services include import permits for animal products and by-products; ornamental fish and marine animals; wild birds and animals; table eggs and egg products; animal feed, feed additives and supplements; cats and dogs; horses; live animals; and racing camels.
The application also provides veterinary health certificates for the export of animal products and by-products, live animals, cats and dogs, camels, birds and rabbits, wild animals and birds, falcons, horses, racing camels, and animal feed, feed additives and supplements.
Additional import services include re-entry permits for cats and dogs; import permits for camels for breeding and slaughter; veterinary biological products; controlled veterinary medicines and restricted substances; laboratory materials and equipment; veterinary cosmetic and health products; falcons; and veterinary medicines.
The veterinary quarantine services include inspection of veterinary quarantine import permits at border ports, inspection of veterinary quarantine export certificates at border ports, renewal of veterinary quarantine permits, amendment of veterinary quarantine import permits, cancellation of import permits and veterinary health export certificates, and amendment of veterinary health certificates.
The new company registration and agricultural services include requests to register companies and entities for veterinary quarantine services, update company and entity information for veterinary quarantine services, register tags and numbers for companies for camel slaughter certificates, request the export or re-export of agricultural consignments, and request inspections of agricultural consignments for export or re-export.
The Ministry said the new services are now available through the application.
To access the services, users must download the OUN app and log in using their QID number and mobile number. Login details are verified through an OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
Users can then select the required service, enter the necessary information and attach supporting documents, where applicable. Requests can be submitted electronically, and their status can be tracked through the application.
