Doha: Due to the steady increase in Covid-19 cases in Qatar, the Qatar Cabinet had last week ordered continuation of 80 percent employees in workplaces, while the remaining 20 percent working remotely.
In line with this decision, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) stressed the need to follow precautionary measures for those in their respective workplaces. HMC has listed a few points to follow to ensure safety and prevent the spread of the virus.
1. Adhere to social distancing guidelines and always maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters between you and other people.
2. Wear a mask at all times and ensure the mask is safely disposed of after use.
3. Avoid greeting other people with handshakes and avoid gatherings in hallways.
4. Use gloves and hand sanitizers when entering the workplace.
5. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing.
6. Make sure you read and follow instructions of official authorities.
7. Check your temperature and visit the nearest health center immediately if you have a fever
8. Ensure you activate your EHTERAZ app before entering the workplace.
9. Stay at home and seek medical attention if you develop any symptoms of a respiratory illness.
