Doha, Qatar: Qatar has partially reopened its airspace in a cautious first step towards restoring air lines to one of the Gulf’s most important aviation hubs.
According to Al Jazeera quoting global flight tracking service Flightradar, an A380 jet heading to London was the first aircraft to depart Doha this morning March 7 since the regional tensions began on February 28.
The country’s aviation authority said that priority would be given to “stranded passengers with families, elderly passengers, and those with urgent medical and compassionate travel needs”
