Doha: Qatar MICE Development Institute (QMDI), a joint venture with Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, will manage QF’s Annual Research Conference (ARC ’14) for the fourth year running.
Held under the patronage of H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson, QF, ARC ’14 is a leading international science and research conference.
Taking place on November 18-19 at Qatar National Convention Centre, the event will bring together more than 1,000 delegates from around the world for thought-provoking panel discussions and technical presentations, sharing experiences and innovative approaches around the theme ‘Towards World-class Research and Innovation.’
QMDI’s team will form an integral part of executing critical aspects of the conference, from preparation to on-the-ground assistance. This includes crafting the creative concept, handling registration, accommodation and the transportation of all delegates and speakers.
As one of the main pillars of Qatar Foundation, QF Research & Development, which hosts the conference, has been active in promoting QF’s vision of cultivating life-long learning and interest in science and research in the country.
The conference aims to address critical issues such as Qatar’s cyber and water security, solar and renewable energy solutions, health management systems, social challenges and opportunities facing Qatar and the region.
