GACA said the two airports were targeted on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 6 and 7, adding that airport firefighting and other relevant authorities responded to the incidents in accordance with approved procedures and emergency plans.
At Abha International Airport, two passengers — a Moroccan national and an Algerian national — were killed, while 28 people were injured, including two Saudi citizens and residents of Bangladeshi and Filipino nationalities. Their injuries ranged from minor to serious, according to the statement.
