Doha: Ministry of Commerce & Industry ordered to close three commercial stores as they failed to comply with the ministry's circulars regarding precautionary and preventive measures to confront coronavirus. The stores also did not adhere to the general and special requirements for commercial stores.
The shops found violating were Fast for car washing on Salwa Street, Anana Du Cafe in Al Duhail and Fitwell Ladies Accessories in Al Markhiya Street.
Fast for car washing and Anana Du Cafe failed to comply with general and special requirements and so both were punished with closure until the situation is modified and fines are paid.
Fitwell Ladies Accessories violated the ministry circulars regarding precautionary measures and preventive measures to confront coronavirus and so will remain closed until the situation is modified and fine paid.
The Ministry assured that it intends to intensify its inspection campaigns to control violations. Any party who violates laws and Ministerial decisions will be referred to the competent authorities, who will take appropriate measures against violators to protect consumer rights.
The Ministry also urged all citizens and residents to report any violations or infractions related to registration and commercial licensing, or any violation of precautionary and preventive measures.
