Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani received yesterday a telephone call from the President of the Swiss Confederation Ueli Maurer. Bilateral relations and issues of common concern were reviewed during the call.
Geneva: Qatar has urged all countries, organisations and civil society leaders to intensify their efforts to promote understanding, expand the horizons of continuing dialogue, and put an end to random targeting of religions and cultures, as well as to consolidate tolerance and coexistence among different religions and peoples.
This came in a speech delivered by the Third Secretary of Qatar’s Permanent Mission in Geneva Jassim Sayyar Al Mawaddah at the 22nd Session of the Human Rights Council, currently being held in Geneva. QNA
