Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 46.43 points (-0.45%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,370.46 points Wednesday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 13,382,901 from 14,402,295 on Tuesday and the value of shares also decreased QR494,123,098.25 from QR524,718,421.86 on Tuesday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 38 saw trading today. From these 10 gained and 26 companies closed lower today, remained two companies unchanged.
Indices of five sectors ended in red and remained two sectors ended in green today. QSE Total Return Index dropped -0.45 to 17,084.33 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index down -0.27% to 4,060.27 points and QSE All Share Index lost -0.53% to 2,903.53 points.
