Dojha: Aspire Academy student athletes joined in the Tarsheed Carnival held by Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) in four locations. The 30 students participated in Wadi Al-Dehool natural site near Al Khor city.
Tarsheed team held various interactive activities and games for the Academy students and briefed them to Tarsheed campaign - its significance and importance of conserving electricity and water, and the government’s efforts in sustainability and future plans, among others.
“This year, the fifth carnival took place in four different sites in the country’s regions. We were pleased with the participation of Aspire Academy students.
These events and games were aimed at encouraging students to play entertaining games that do not require electricity consumption, in addition to preserving meadows, the environment and natural goods,” said Fatima Saeed AlMesnad, Kahramaa Head of events and Community Awareness in Tarsheed.
