Ideal Indian School (IIS) conducted a two day Teachers’ Orientation programme for its staff recently. The first day of the orientation programme had a special resource person, Umri, who heads research, development and consultancy of the Direct Opinion Consultancy in India, took a session on the topic ‘Modern and Future Trends in Education’.
He discussed at length about the need to promote lateral thinking in students and encourage innovations.
The second day of the programme had presentations by Vidyasankar and Padma Ramaswamy. While Vidyasankar detailed on how misconceptions disturbed the learning process, Padma dealt on the qualities of a good teacher.The Peninsula
