Doha: “Clean the litter, Shine like Glitter” Birla Public School (BPS) Doha Scouts and Guides celebrated World Thinking Day in School on February 22.
Scouts and Guides made posters on Baden Powell, the Founder of Scouts. They held these posters at the time of procession.
The celebration started with the gathering of all Scouts and Guides along with their masters in-front of the reception area at 11:45am, where they were addressed by the Principal, AP Sharma and Vice-Principal, George Edison. They started the agenda of the celebration ‘Cleaning campaign’ with Bharat Scouts and Guides song and motto.
To think positive and productive one needs to clean the mind and society, and our Scouts and Guides started it with cleaning of the school.
They were given caps, gloves, garbage bags and guidelines by PK Bhullar and Saju Scout Masters of the school.
All of them went to allotted classes in groups, where they informed class students about the importance of cleanliness and collected trash from classes. After that they cleaned the open ground area of the school and gathered in-front of open reception area with collected trash in bags.
They all were appreciated by Principal for their effort towards cleaning and making their school more beautiful with their involvement. All of them participated in this campaign enthusiastically and enjoyed it a lot.
