Doha: DPS-MIS organised an orientation program for the students of class X to prepare them for the forthcoming Board Examination 2017-18. Vijayasree, the Academic Coordinator, welcomed the gathering and briefed the children on the importance of board examination and its preparation.
Principal, Asna Nafees, in her motivational address, gave valuable pointers to the students to manage stress, nervousness and anxiety and emphasised on the need of well-structured approach to excel in the examination.
CBSE Coordinator classes IX & X, Ashraf Sultana, discussed at length the subject- specific strategies to be adopted to secure good marks.
Time management, proper planning and schedule, thorough revision, healthy diet and good sleep were a few tips given to the students by Headmistress classes IX & X, Ms. Mary Cruz.
She also advised the students to keep away from any kind of malpractice.
The orientation was highly beneficial for the students who will be taking their board exams for the first time.
