MOCI lists a set of precautionary measures for delivery staff

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has announced delivery companies to follow strict precautionary measures for the safety of citizens and residents.

In a Twitter statement, the ministry stated "Ministry of Commerce and Industry compels companies processing various delivery orders to comply with a set of precautionary measures to preserve the safety of citizens and residents." 

The measures include: 

  • Measuring the temperature of the delivery staff twice daily
  • Ensuring the delivery staff commit to the health and safety measures, especially wearing masks, frequently sanitizing hands
  • Noting the full name and temperature of the delivery person on each order.
  • Sterilizing the means of transportation used to deliver orders
  • Placing the order in plastic bags that are disposed of before deIivery to the consumer.
