Students from the Shafallah Centre during a visit to the Al Jazeera Children Channel headquarters.
DOHA: A delegation of students and members from Shafallah Centre for Children with Special Needs recently visited the Al Jazeera Children Channel (JCC) headquarters.
The students had the opportunity to have a “behind the scenes” look of the studios and departments that produce their favourite shows.
Ziad Tiger Wahdan, Assistant Supervisor of the center’s rehabilitation program, said the visit falls within the Shafallah Center’s strategy to develop student’s skills and abilities by allowing them to interact with society through official visits to public institutions.
He said this visit was valuable as it engaged the students with an educational and entertaining tour and allowed them to interact closely with JEEM TV’s famous characters such as the channel’s amusing puppet Anbar who entertained everyone with his sense of humour.
