TOKYO: Tokyo stocks jumped 2.58 percent on Tuesday, lifted by positive leads from Wall Street and European markets.
The Nikkei index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange closed up 363.56 points to 14,472.90.
The Topix index of all first section shares rose 2.07 percent, or 24.31 points, to 1,196.89. (AFP)
