Algiers: Deputising for the Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani participated in the funeral of former Algerian president Chadli Bendjedid, held yesterday in the Algerian capital.
Sheikh Joaan conveyed condolences of the Emir to Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on the death of the former president. He also conveyed condolences of the Emir to the family of the deceased president.
Sheikh Joaan also conveyed condolences of the Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the death of Bendjedid to the Algerian president and the deceased’s family.
