Aspire Lake Festival
Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF), in partnership with Katara and Ooredoo, is organizing Qatar’s first ever lake show, the ‘Aspire Lake Festival’, from November 9 to 11 in Aspire Park from 7:30pm onwards.
Inspired by Venetian culture, the festival will be an aesthetic masterpiece for community members of all ages to enjoy, featuring musical and artistic entertainment performed in boats on the Aspire Lake.
Aspire will also hold family activities and set up a range of stalls selling food and local products on the sidelines of the festival.

Katara European Jazz Festival
If music is your forte, then head to Katara as top jazz musicians from 11 European countries will feature the fourth edition of Katara European Jazz Festival.
Launched in 2014, the festival has grown through the years, from five participants in its inaugural edition to 11 participating countries this year including Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Romania and Switzerland.
Two to three artistes will perform every night during the course of the festival. In addition, there will be workshops to be conducted by the Jazz artistes in cooperation with Qatar Music Academy.

Open Air concert at new Amphitheatre in FBQ Museum
Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum has announced a series of concerts at its spacious facilities, notably at its prominent amphitheatre, bringing the visitors an unforgettable experience of open air concerts in the middle of FBQ Museum Farm.
The concert will be featuring winners of the First Edition of the Qatar National Music Competition which took place on Oct 15-17, 2017, revealing the best of Qatar’s musical talents.
The concert will be diverse and will include Arabic as well as Western music performances. Musicians from Qatar, the Middle East and from around the globe, aged between 10 and 18, will reveal the glorious music talents developing in Qatar.
Free entry on first come first serve basis.

Celebrate international cultures this weekend at MIA Park
Qatar Museum is getting ready to kick off a colorful weekend event on November 10-11, to celebrate traditions and cultures from all over the world at MIA Park.
During the event, communities will give a glimpse into their cultures by showcasing traditional clothing items, music, games, books and much more. In addition, a selection of delicious food and beverages representing each country will be on offer.

Open Mic Night at Katara
US Embassy in Qatar with its Young Writers Open Mic Night is inviting all writers, musicians, poets and performing artists of all level and ages to showcase their talent.
They even have special prizes for the top performers / presenters of the evening.

Purple Island Kayaking Exploration
Purple Island or Jaziret Ben Ghanem near Al Khor was one of the first lands to be inhabited by ancient people in Qatar, back to more than 3000 years ago. The island is now surrounded by a mangrove forest and beautiful channels, possible to explore by Kayaks! Discover Arabia is currently offering an exploration tour through kayaking.
All equipment are provided for Kayaking, as well as portable toilet, changing rooms, water, juices etc.
