Doha, Qatar: The General Authority of Customs has announced that both registered and non-registered individuals can now authorize an approved customs clearance agency through the Al-Nadeeb system.
In a social media post, the authority outlined the steps for completing the authorization process through its e-services portal.
The steps involved:
- Log in to the e-Services Portal
- Select the "Authorize a Customs Clearance Agency for Individuals" service
- Select the customs clearance agency and fill in the required data
- Confirmation of authorization and the agency is notified automatically
- Track the authorization status using the reference number
The authority said users can cancel an authorization at any time through the e-Services portal. However, modifications, available only to registered individuals and companies, will result in a new authorization being issued with a different reference number.
To access the e-Services portal, users can log in using their personal number and the mobile number linked to an activated account in the National Authentication System (NAS).
