The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change inspectors took action against four violators who tampered with natural environment by driving through meadows.
In a tweet where ministry shared pictures of cement mixer, tanker, JCB and a truck it said, "The inspectors of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Unit of the Wildlife Development Department recorded four violations for entering the nursery and tampering with the plant environment in a number of wild areas." It added that necessary legal measures have been taken against them.
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change called on heavy vehicle drivers and campers visiting the camping areas not to drive their vehicles in to meadows and vegetable flats. In order to avoid legal accountability and to protect Qatar's natural environment, the ministry advised motorists to use paved roads.
