Officials inaugurating one of the three camps.

Doha: focusQATAR, the expat youth organisation, has conducted three free camps for early detection of renal diseases in Al Khor, Doha and Industrial Area on the same day.
The camps were part of its one-month H4D (Health in 4 Dimensions) awareness campaign in association with Supreme Council of Health.
Ooredoo and Malabar Gold & Diamonds are sponsors of the campaign. Hundreds of expat employees and families benefitted from the camps.
The Aster Medical Centre camp in the Industrial Area was inaugurated by Dr Sameer Moope, the camp at Lifeline Medical Centre, Al Khor, by Dr Sarjas Olakara from the centre and Askar Rahman, Administration Manager, focus, and the camp in Doha by Santhosh T V, Regional Head, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, and P Safeer, General Manager, Al Safa Polyclinic.
Organisers highlighted the fact that the majority of health issues are linked to lifestyle. Kidney failure cases could be averted if proper medical care is given on time. Education and regular assessment of health conditions are key to managing lifestyle diseases, they said.
