Qatari Diar hails achievements

DOHA: Under the auspices of  H E Ali Sherif Al Emadi, Minister of Finance and Chairman of Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, Qatari Diar held its annual town hall staff meeting on Monday led by the Group CEO Khalid Al Sayed.
The meeting brought together Qatari Diar’s top management and employees to celebrate the company’s achievements on the domestic and international level amid the completion of the first phase of an ambitious five-year business plan launched in 2014. 
During the meeting, Qatari Diar’s top management highlighted the challenges and opportunities lying ahead and discussed future objectives in line with the five-year business plan that was launched in an internal campaign with the slogan of “Let’s Make the Next 5 Years Count” continued this year under the title “Let’s Work 4 it!”
The meeting offered staff members the opportunity to inquire into Qatari Diar’s future projects and internal training programmes.  
In his keynote speech, H E Ali Sherif Al Emadi highlighted Qatari Diar’s achievements and praised employees for their contribution to the company’s success. “I am pleased to join you to highlight our accomplishment both locally and abroad. I am also proud of Qatari Diar’s employees who thanks to their commitment and dedication have contributed to our success beyond expectations and I am confident that our company will continue to excel.”
Khaled Al Sayed said the meeting presented an opportunity for Qatari Diar employees to interact with top management and discuss upcoming projects.
“Qatari Diar’s management believes in the importance of celebrating its accomplishments with its employees because those achievements wouldn’t have materialized if it weren’t for our staff,” Al Sayed said.
During the ceremony, Qatari Diar recognised 39 employees who were presented with the Group CEO Award for outstanding performance.  Qatari Diar also awarded four infrastructure projects at Lusail Plaza and Business Centre districts, worth QR6.34bn and delivered the first phase of the Qetaifan Islands. In the first quarter of 2015, the company obtained licenses for the development of 69 buildings within Lusail City.
