Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced the launch of the Global Youth Competition on Influenza and COVID-19 Prevention and Control, organised by the World Health Organization (WHO), and encouraged students and young professionals to participate.
The competition aims to encourage participants to develop innovative videos that raise awareness of influenza and COVID-19 prevention, address misinformation, and promote positive health behaviours.
The competition theme is "How do you shield your circle from respiratory infections, like influenza and COVID-19?"
The competition is open to students and young professionals aged 18 to 35. Submissions are open until September 13, 2026. Participants can apply through the online application form.
