Doha: The Made in India – Properties and Education Exhibition 2012 was inaugurated here at the Doha Exhibition Centre yesterday.
The exhibition, brought here by Apex Events, introduces well-known organisations and educational institutes in India to the people in Qatar.
The first edition of the exhibition only looked at the business and properties aspect, whereas, this year education prospects in India have also been introduced.
“We have some 120 institutions participating in the event,” one of the organisers of the exhibition said.
This includes universities and institutes that have campuses all over India.
“There were many Egyptians, Jordanians and other nationals who came to see the exhibition because they wanted to study in India,” the official added.
The two day exhibition, which ends today, was inaugurated by the P S Sasi Kumar, Deputy Head of Mission at the Indian embassy.
It is open to public from 10 am till 8 pm.
