Sensus Connect was designed as a human-centric device with Volvo’s aim to streamline our daily obligations, allowing more free time making the drive safe and enjoyable.
The unique infotainment system has the ability to transform the car’s seven-inch display screen into a connected media centre with touch function, giving the owner outstanding possibilities.
The system can be operated via the touch screen, the steering wheel or the centre stack controls and will connect to the Internet via a Bluetooth-paired smartphone, Wi-Fi access point or a USB. It also makes it possible to share a Wi-Fi network with everyone in the car.
Maintaining its focus on safety and comfort, users can stream music through their dashboard. The system is touch- or voice-activated, with the driver being able to start music by saying the name of a song.
In addition to a fully connected experience, it also includes a unique Park & Pay solution, enabling the users to pay for parking from their smartphones.
The Sensus Connect navigation system also allows the driver to find nearby restaurants without leaving the comfort of their Volvo. They can also input destinations and check local surrounding via Wikipedia.
Sensus Connected Touch is a standard feature in most versions of Volvo, including V40, S60, XC60 and S80.
