BACOLOD CITY: Apparently not knowing what comatose means, a family in Bago City, Negros Occidental instead brought a sick member to the funeral parlour. Thankfully, workers at the funeral parlour found 27-year-old Rodolfo Caasi Jr still alive and saved him from being embalmed, Bombo Radyo reported on Wednesday. Caasi was injured in a motorcycle accident last month and was admitted to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City. Later, doctors pronounced him comatose.

Zagala said the three were all active members of the NPA’s Front 51, Southern Mindanao Regional Command. He said they are undergoing custodial debriefing at the 39IB headquarters.
