Doha: The cabinet yesterday reviewed the following issues: A - A draft law concerning the commercial, industrial and general stores. It includes basic rules providing that it is not allowed to open or managae any store under their rules except via a licence from the concerned department of the ministry of business and trade . The aforesaid draft law comes within the due keenness on updating the legislations for shortening time and faciliating the measures of licencing the opening and management of stores and attract capitals.
B- A draft law amending some provisions of law No.(25) of 2005 concerning the commercial register. Accoring to such amendment, the department concerned is to consider the licence request and inform the applicant of the department’s decision in the same day and registration in the commercial register will be for a one-year period renewable for a period or other similar periods. C- A draft law amending some provisions of the law No.(7) of 2007 concerning settlement in administrative disputes. D- An Emiri draft decision amending some provisions of the Emiri decision No.(23) of 2006 on the formation of the permanent committee for naturalisation affairs, setting its functions and the procedures to be followed.QNA
