IGNCA felicitates DPS Modern Indian School staff member

Doha: In connection with the International Women’s Day celebrations, Shalini Verma, from Hindi Department, DPS Modern Indian School, was felicitated by Indira Gandhi National Centre of Arts (IGNCA), Cultural Ministry of India, recently. 

Shalini Verma was invited as a panellist to Shakti Parva – 2022, an event organised by Indira Gandhi National Centre of Arts, Cultural Ministry of India premises, Janpath, New Delhi.

Prathma, a book on the life stories of Indian women who have excelled in various fields, breaking gender stereotypes and barriers, which is co-authored by Shalini, was released by Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for Culture and External Affairs of India, during the event.

During the panel discussion, the panellists, who also included women ambassadors from various countries to India, shared their views on women’s empowerment.
