Doha: The Minister of Education and Higher Education and Supreme Education Council Secretary-General H E Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi on Monday signed an operating agreement for a Finnish school in Doha as part of an initiative that brings leading international schools to open branches in Qatar.
The school will start operations at the beginning of the 2014-15 academic year with kindergarten and first and second years of primary stage. It will teach Finnish curriculum along with Qatar’s history, Islamic studies and Arabic language and will be open for boys and girls.
