Doha: United Development Company (UDC), master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, bagged two accolades at the Cityscape Qatar Awards held during the Cityscape exhibition last week.
UDC won Best Commercial and Mixed Use Project for its flagship development, as well as the Best Residential Project award in recognition of The Pearl-Qatar’s position as the best residential and lifestyle destination in Qatar.
The company was also shortlisted for Best Leisure and Tourism Project for the development of an island considered by many to be one of the most recognised landmarks of modern Qatar; and Best Retail Project, for redefining how commercial spaces are designed and operated.
The awards were accepted by Ali Al Malki, Public Relations Manager, and Ehab Kamel, General Manager of Retail Leasing, who both confirmed that the achievements were in recognition of the innovative nature of The Pearl-Qatar and that the development could not have been possible without the strategic vision and collaborative leadership of UDC investors and top executives.
