DOHA: The Court of Appeals has adjourned the Villaggio fire case hearing to October 27.
The court on Monday also ordered cancellation of fine imposed on the director of Al Rayan Municipality.
A lower criminal court last year had found five accused responsible for the death of 19 people in the blaze and ordered them to serve up to six years in jail.
The hearing has been postponed following requests from defence lawyers who sought more time to cross-examine witnesses.
