Emir, PM send condolences to Rowhani

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of condolences to the Iranian President,  Hassan Rowhani, on the victims of the Iranian plane that crashed west of Tehran. 

The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable.

Ecuador President congratulated on Independence Day

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to the President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, on his country’s Independence Day.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable.

DOHA: The Foreign Minister H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah yesterday held telephone talks with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry and discussed latest developments in Gaza .

Somali Minister meets envoy

Mogadishu: The Somali Minister of National Security, Khalif Ahmed Ereg, met Qatar’s Acting Charge d’Affaires Hassan bin Hamza.
Talks dealt with relations between Qatar and Somalia and means of developing them in various fields.
