DOHA: Qatar Airways welcomes the Executive Leadership Team and Board and International Advisory Board Members of Rolls-Royce to Doha for several days of meetings, the company said yesterday.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, said: “We are delighted to have the Executive Leadership Team and Board Members of Rolls-Royce in Doha. It is especially relevant — given our long-standing partnership — to all be present together to discuss pertinent matters related to aircraft programmes, as well as showcase the new hub for Qatar Airways, Hamad International Airport. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome each and every guest from Rolls-Royce and with them a pleasant stay and productive few days in Doha. We are so very pleased that they have selected Doha as the venue for these valuable discussions.”
The meetings were held in both Qatar and the UAE throughout the week, demonstrating the engine manufacturer’s commitment towards its customers in the Gulf region.
