DOHA: Some services at the Hamad General Hospital’s (HGH) Emergency Department will be temporarily relocated tomorrow due to installation of new equipment, said a statement yesterday.
The new locations will be indicated by sign boards. HGH clinical staff and security personnel will guide patients and visitors and answer questions.
At all times during the maintenance work and temporary relocation, patient privacy will be protected.
The Ambulance Service may transport non-trauma cases to other hospitals. In all cases, patients will be given access to the most clinically appropriate high quality care, no matter the hospital destination, the statement said.
Tomorrow, HGH will prepare to install two new CT scanners.
