Doha, Qatar: The Amiri Diwan announced four days of national mourning throughout the country on the passing of His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
It stated that the mourning period of four days will begin from Sunday, July 12, 2026.
Work will be suspended in ministries, other government agencies, public bodies and institutions starting from Monday, July 13, 2026, with employees resuming their work on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Flags will be flown at half-mast throughout the country for the duration of the mourning period.
