DOHA: Doha Municipality has arrested 24 hawkers on the streets of Industrial Area during a campaign on Friday. The campaign was carried out in collaboration with the General Control Section of the municipality, Al Fazaa Police and Public Hygiene Project, a statement said yesterday. The municipality said the campaign is part of its efforts to eradicate the phenomenon of street vendors.
