• Authorities have been urged to allocate places for installation of gargoors in Al Wakra as fishermen are fixing gargoors in areas close to Al Wakra Port using large number of workers to transport and install them. Similar things happen when they take them to boats, and this is making them spend a lot of money, efforts and time, people said.
• Some people criticised car sales on streets and open areas and said the phenomenon had shifted to internal narrow roads where people are leaving their vehicles for sale disregarding rules that could result in fines or seizure of vehicles by the Traffic Department.
• Some patients needing emergency attention complained about being neglected at Hamad emergency and said they were forced to wait for a long time before meeting doctors for check-ups and treatment.
• There was talk on social media about the Kuwaiti cabinet’s decision to revoke citizenship of 10 people, including prominent Islamic preacher Nabel Al Awadi.
• Authorities were urged to strictly monitor the logistics village near the Industrial Area. People said many truck drivers were exploiting the government’s laxity and changing the village into a landfill. They said a large part of the area has been filled with waste.
• Many people expressed disappointment with visa processing offices opened by some embassies. They said instead of facilitating visa procedures, offices are creating problems by complicating the process, delaying visas and not respecting appointments they make.
• Some people urged authorities to encourage Qatari traditional restaurants and qualify them to serve foreign tourists and introduce Qatari traditional food.
