Doha: In light of recent events, families are finding themselves in the position of not only being at home with their children for an extended period but educating them as well. Unlike a school vacation, places like zoos, aquariums, and museums are closed to keep people from congregating and prevent the coronavirus spread.
The Kindergarten section at Birla Public School (BPS) recently arranged a virtual journey for kids stuck at home. Virtual tours are a fun way to have an educational field trip for kids to visit places from the comfort of their classroom or home.
The KG 1 kids were treated to an aquarium visit, while the KG 2 hitched a riding experience, the excitement of riding a fire truck and an ambulance -- learning these particular types of vehicles and their importance.
To cherish their experience, the children recreated what they learned through the virtual tour on a canvas. Touring virtually is an excellent gateway from the monotony of staying at home during classes.
