Doha: Loyola International School (LIS), Qatar has announced the appointment of Pramod Kumar Ranwaka as their new Principal. R Venkat Rao, Chairman of Loyola Group of Institutions, expressed his pleasure in the appointment and thanked the outgoing Principal Prasad Pogaru for his outstanding contribution to Loyola during the last 8 years.
Pramod brings with him a rich experience of over 30 years in the education sector. Prior to this role, he has served as the principal of the prestigious Mayo College (estd 1875), Ajmer, India, a historical institution.
Additionally, he has also served as the founder-principal of Birla Public School, Kishangarh, (Managed by the Birla Education Trust, Pilani). Pramod has served in various leadership positions across his career that started as a mathematics teacher in 1989.
“Loyola is at the forefront of creating better learning environments for imparting all-inclusive education and having the right educators who align with its values are instrumental to that. Pramod brings a history of building trust and developing positive relationships along with high ethics and strong leadership to the school. He has proven to be a dedicated and caring educator who works well with students and teachers,” a statement from the school said.
“The systems that are in place here are very impactful, and I’m looking forward to come in and contribute to it. I am really impressed with LIS’s educational philosophy and its holistic teaching curriculum, which makes me so excited to be here,” said Pramod Ranwaka.
A visionary educator, Pramod has pioneered some of the most promising trainings in next generation learning. He is a reputed name among the academic fraternity as a Member of NCERT Committee to review Class XI text books of Mathematics at the Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer in September 2002, in addition to being appointed as Head Examiner by CBSE for Class X & XII Mathematics Examinations from 2003-2009.
