Doha: Ooredoo yesterday announced that Mozaic TV will show some of its most popular titles from the Video on Demand (VOD) film library with a special half-price promotion from April 1-30.
The special ‘Month of Movies’ which has been designed to bring families together in April, will cost just QR7 per film, fifty percent off the usual price, and will be streamed into weekly themes for the month.
The ‘Month of Movies’ will begin with a week of family content including top titles such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) and Rango (2011), before moving on to drama, comedy and action.
Other movies include the farcical comedy Meet the Fockers (2004), Due Date (2010) Horrible Bosses (2011) and the fast-paced action of Sherlock Holmes (2009) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)
Mozaic TV’s Video On Demand service, which launched in 2009, allows customers to view a wide selection of movie content at the touch of a button, without leaving their home.
Once purchased, a Video On Demand film can be viewed as many times as wanted in the 48 hour rental period. Viewers can also fast forward, pause, rewind and play the content.
All Video On Demand Content will be charged to the customer’s monthly Ooredoo bill. Mozaic TV users can access the ‘Month of Movies’ now by clicking the “VOD” button on their remote handsets, and then selecting “What’s New”.
