Doha: The Hamilton International School, has opened the 2022-23 applications for the Ali AlFardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education.
The scholarship, now in its second year, covers a full year’s tuition fee at The Hamilton International School.
A student who has a proven track record of academic excellence and a commitment to his studies will be awarded the scholarship for the next academic year.
All students in Doha, from Grade 6 to Grade 8, can apply. The closing date for applications for this year, is May 31, 2022.
“We want to encourage students who excel academically, plus demonstrate a commitment to their community through community service and environmental initiatives, to apply for the Ali AlFardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education,” said Terry Senior, Principal of The Hamilton International School
“The scholarship was named Ali AlFardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education in honour of AlFardan’s great work in Doha. His accomplishments and contributions to society are a great inspiration and will further motivate students to apply for this award,” Senior added.

In addition to the Ali AlFardan Scholarship for Excellence in Education, the school will again offer the prestigious Hamilton Principal’s Award.
This award, now in its third year, recognises a current Hamilton student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievements and provides them with a scholarship of 50% of their tuition fees.
