The Admission Department at Qatar University (QU) has announced electronic admission applications for graduate programs for the spring 2022 semester. The application process will run from September 19 to October 21, 2021, through its official website. Admission decisions will be announced on December 23, 2021.
Section Head of Graduate Admission at QU asserted that admission into the university depends on the principle of competition between applicants who have met the minimum requirements for admission. Students are accepted according to the capacity of each programme and the related admission requirement.
Applicants may apply for graduate studies in one of the 33 programmes on offer for the spring 2022 semester, including all the Ph.D. and Master’s programmes in the College of Engineering. In addition to the QU-Health colleges, including Ph.D. in Medical Science, Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science, and Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences. The College of Arts and Sciences opens Ph.D. in Biological & Environmental Sciences, Ph.D. in Gulf Studies, Master of Arts in Gulf Studies, and Masters of Science in Applied Statistics, Material Science & Technology, and Environmental Sciences. In addition, the College of Arts and Sciences opens the admission to the certificate programmes in Environmental Sciences, Corrosion Science, and Applied Statistics.
Students can track the admission application status through the online admission application page, using the student’s user name (ID) and password (PIN).
Applicants are advised to read all the requirements needed for each programme on QU’s website at http://www.qu.edu.qa/students/admission/graduate where they are required to fill an online application and attach all official documents before the deadline.
The Section Head of Graduate Admission also mentioned that classes for the spring 2022 semester will start on January 9, 2022. The university’s Admission Department invites all students wishing to apply for spring 2022 or has inquiries to contact the Student Call Center.
