Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to King Felipe VI of Spain on his country’s National Day.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable.
Rabat: The Moroccan Minister of Transport, Equipment and Logistics, Aziz Rabbah, recently met Qatar’s Ambassador Abdullah bin Falah Al Dossari in the Moroccan capital yesterday.
Talks dealt with relations between both countries and means of developing them as well as matters of mutual concern.
The Hague: Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, Ambassador Khalid bin Fahad Al Khater, hosted a reception in honour of ambassadors and delegations of the member states of the OPCW Executive Council on the sidelines of its 77th Session.

The reception was also attended by OPCW Director-General Ahmet Uzumcu, Chairperson of the council, Alvaro Marcelo Moerzinger, employees of OPCW’s technical secretariat.
Uzumcu expressed pleasure over Qatar’s gesture, especially as it was the first time a reception was hosted on the sideline of the convening the OPCW Executive Council.
Argentine minister meets envoy
Buenos Aires: The Minister of Tourism of Argentina, Carlos Enrique Meyer, yesterday met Qatar’s Ambassador Fahd bin Ibrahim Al Hamad Al Mana.
Talks dealt with relations between both countries and means of developing them in all fields of mutual interest.
