Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI), through its social media handles, stated that the use of the left lane by vehicles towing a trailer or semi-trailer is prohibited, as stipulated in Article (43) of the Traffic Law.
This measure, MoI said, was put in place to enhance traffic safety.
Article (43) of the Traffic Law states that any person operating a vehicle that is towing a trailer or semi-trailer shall only drive on the right-hand side of the road and shall not overtake other vehicles.
