By enabling our people to take the ACA qualification, we are not only enriching their personal skills but also ensuring that our clients have the most qualified and technically able teams supporting them.”
KPMG in Qatar currently employs around 30 chartered accountants and several people are currently undertaking professional qualifications to achieve this.  To become a chartered account through taking the ACA, participants are required to complete a minimum of 450 days of practical work experience from an authorised training employer, as well as completing 15 modules across a variety of topics.
Omar currently leads the Doha Chapter of ICAEW and will be the ‘Qualified Person Responsible for Training (QPRT)’ for all KPMG employees intending to pursue the course. The ICAEW promotes, develops and supports more than 146,000 members worldwide. The institute provides members with knowledge and guidance, and ensure ICAEW Chartered Accountants are meeting the highest ethical and technical standards.
